(I've got a new email program whereby I can update you occasionally with images of my paintings. If you have a specific request to see something, let me know!)
"We put our portrait in a place that we can enjoy. I look at it every day and it always puts a smile on my face and makes me happy inside. It shows the casual life style that suits us and brings out our personalities. It's endearing. One of the reasons we wanted to have a portrait is that it becomes a family heirloom that is priceless. As we see our children grow, it makes me happy to know that this time period will be remembered forever."
—The Family at the Beach
People ask me if this family had to sit for hours in the sun and wind while I painted? No indeed! We made reference photos of them in the studio where we had control of the lights and the temperature. Then I did some research and painted the background afterwards.
If summer is a season when your family is relaxed, it might be the right time to start a portrait. I just need references to paint from—photos from you, or you can come to my studio for a fun and easy photo session.
I've heard that the biggest regrets are the things we didn't do.
Let me help you achieve this wish!
All the best,
