Video of 6 Women’s Oil Portraits

This is the third in the series of videos that show several portraits in the same category. This one is about women’s oil portraits.

One characteristic that each of these women have is that they are mothers. All added up, they have 16 children among them. For most, I painted their children first with separate paintings for each child so they could inherit individual portraits. Then the mothers went ahead and got portraits to reflect their own personalities.

[Would you like to figure out which description below goes with which portrait in the video? Hint: They are not in the same order!]

One busy woman has a law practice which divides her attention while also rearing two young children.

Another woman is my portraiture representative. She has connected me with many wonderful families to paint. It was time for her portrait.

One beautiful lady had an idea for her husband’s first year anniversary gift. When it was presented, he sought me out to tell me how much he loved it.

Then another thought it would be nice to have separate oil portraits of herself and her husband each with their own natures.

One woman and I developed an aesthetic rapport. She let me inspire her with the idea of portraying her as a “wood maiden” that I love to paint.

Another woman’s husband wanted an oil portrait of his beautiful wife at his company office where he spends a lot of time. She decided that a formal portrait would be appropriate.

I would love to portray you and your loved ones to be remembered each in your own special ways.
