Son's Oil Portrait: Gregory at the Beach

His parents showed me favorite family pictures

of themselves and their little boy at the beach and told me that they would like to have their son's oil portrait follow that idea. My husband, Gerry, and I photographed Gregory in our photo studio, but I made the background the same beach scene as in the family photos. When the painting was done, it was sent to them and I heard how much it was appreciated both by the parents and the grandmother. Much later, I ran into the father at a party and asked him, “How is having the portrait of Gregory all these years?” He replied, “Awesome! Tremendous! I look at it every day and love it.
